JEE MAIN 2014 EXAM PATTERN

What is the JEE MAIN 2014 Exam Pattern?

Paper Pattern: JEE Main Entrance examination will consist of two papers.

PAPER 1: For Engineering courses(Online OR Offline mode).

PAPER 2: For Architecture/Planning courses(Pen and Paper based Test only).

Duration Of JEE Main 2014: 3 hours.

Medium of Exam: Candidates can go for Hindi Or English medium to write their exam.

JEE MAIN 2014: PAPER 1.

1) Online Mode(Computer Based Test,CBT).

JEE Main 2014 Entrance exam 2014 will comprise of three parts namely Physics,Chemistry,Maths with equal weightage to all the parts. Level Of questions will follow the NCERT syllabus of Class 11th and 12th. Examination centers for online test will be announced by CBSE in March 2014.

Date of Online exam: Online test for JEE MAIN 2014 will held on 9,11,12 and 19 April 2014 in two shift timings viz 09:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.

2) Offline Mode(Pen and Paper Based Test).

JEE Main 2014 Entrance exam 2014 will comprise of three parts namely Physics,Chemistry,Maths with equal weightage to all the parts. Examination centers for online test will be announced by CBSE in March 2014.

Date of Online exam: 6th April 2014 from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm.

JEE MAIN 2014: PAPER 2.

JEE Main 2014 Entrance exam 2014 will comprise of three parts namely Mathematics, Aptitude test and Drawing test.

Date of Exam: 6th April 2014 from 2 pm to 5 pm.

JEE MAIN 2014 MARKING SCHEME:

The question paper for JEE MAIN 2014 will consist of objective type questions with four answers, Candidates have to tick mark the correct answer, For every incorrect answer by the candidate one fourth of the total marks allotted to the question  will be deducted. So candidates are advised to not tick the answer for which they are not sure. Two answers against a single question will be considered as an incorrect answer and marks will be deducted for the same.

Note: Candidates appearing for the examinations are advised to bring their own geometry box set and admit card.
